For the past five years Jenny and I were neighbours in Penlee Manor Drive, Penzance; we spent many happy times in enjoyable conversation.

My abiding memories of Jenny are of her joie de vivre and her cheerful determination to keep going ,no matter what.

I am fortunate enough to have one of Jenny’s sea studies, a lovely painting of the sea below Rospletha Cliff.   This captures perfectly the unique

quality of the seas around Cornwall ; a photograph is attached.   

However, my best memory of Jenny is her smile, a beam really, which lit up her eyes and radiated warmth, welcome and pleasure . 

Together with so many others I will greatly miss Jenny and we are the poorer for her passing - but aren’t we fortunate to have known her!
