I have been truly blessed with the enormous pleasure of knowing Jenny. and enjoying her friendship over the course 60 years. First in Camberley as young mums, where we baby sat for each other, and more recently in Penzance. Always the kindest and best of neighbours: clear sighted, humorous and totally unfazed if I panicked or requested help/ advice in the Camberley days. She threw fantastic dinner parties and served exotic (to me) meals from her 'new' Elizabeth David cook book. She was a great gardener. We once went to a jazz concert together to hear Dudley Moore; years before he became famous. I am the proud owner of one of Jenny's superb paintings. Mine, of Tregaseal Carn in Penwith, paints a gentle and wild springtime very close to where we both lived in Cornwall in our late life. This painting has hung on my wall wherever I have lived since and always reminds me of Jenny. With deepest sympathy to Helen, Mark and Linda. Best wishes Janet (Fisher) Lorimer.
